Jessica shares her stay and experiences 2 days after her sleeve surgery in Turkey.
“The beginning was a bit bumpy but nonetheless, these are quite normal things,” Jessica begins her experience report. “Right from the start, I was wonderfully cared for and looked after,” Jessica continues. She mentions that both the chief physician and surgeon, anesthetist, and other doctors regularly examined her. Jessica highlights having had counseling and informational sessions beforehand, where she was informed about potential risks and possible outcomes.

After Jessica reached out to medicalfly through Instagram, shortly thereafter, telephone counseling sessions took place, where Jessica was informed about what she was getting into. ‘We were not left alone from the beginning, there was always someone on our side,’ describes Jessica about her initial experiences with medicalfly. Following some examinations in Germany, which concluded that Jessica was suitable for the surgery, she received the green light. Subsequently, flights were arranged by medicalfly.

Jessica talks about the service and her contact with the medicalfly team. “I had my family with me, who could vacation at the hotel here and visit me on-site,” Jessica mentions. At the start of the operation, Jessica was informed and briefed once again. “I was lovingly guided through the process,” she says.

Jessica talks about the support during her hospital stay. “Here, you have your caregivers and translators by your side, so there’s no need to fear language barriers. With a bit of English and some gestures, you can manage just fine, and otherwise, you can always communicate with your caregiver via WhatsApp or phone call; they are there immediately,” Jessica adds.
The 2nd Day After the Operation
„Today, I’m feeling very well, and I’ve managed my day just like any other normal day. We had a nutrition counseling session where I was informed about how the next steps and days will look for me,” Jessica shares. She was also advised about certain steps and things she needs to follow to recover well and maintain good health after losing weight, she adds. “For me, it’s the beginning of a new life, and I have a new chance to shape my body into a healthy form, something I couldn’t achieve over several years without medicalfly,” Jessica concludes by expressing her gratitude for the warm welcome and excellent care received, mentioning there’s no need to fear taking this step.
